The rose geranium belongs to the large family of Geranium. The seed capsules resemble a stork's beak. As a small spherical bush, it grows to a height of 80 cm and forms delicate flowers that can be of different pink colours. The rose geranium contains a very complex essential oil with a broad spectrum of activity. The essential oil is extracted from the leaves and flowers by steam distillation. It takes about 500 kg of the plant to produce 1 kg essential oil.
Skin: The oil of the rose geranium is especially skin-friendly. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it promotes wound healing and harmonises the skin.
